Hello All! Welcome once again to Get to Know a Gamer! My sincerest apologies for the incredibly long gap between editions. The break was need and welcome. I'm bringing it back with new questions and new vigor. This time we're going to have a sit down with ollee and discuss what makes him tick, and what he likes to tock. Ollee is one of the most senior members of Team9000 and is currently working on creating a calendar we all can follow to watch upcoming broadcasts and game nights, the calendar can be found here, so bookmark that and follow up with it regularly. So, without any further news, here goes:
1. Where did you get your name (ollee) from? I was...10?, 11?(plus or minus some sort of age)...and I was making my first AOL account. I couldn't come up with anything at the moment, and I happened to be holding a cup from olive garden, which the mascot was Ollie the Olive. As Ollie, and Ollee were taken, I then tacked on 64 because I freaking LOVED Nintendo 64.
2. Which do you prefer: breasts or thighs (when eating chicken, of course)? All of the above. I don't discriminate.
3. As one of the very first members of Team9000, was there anything in particular you were hoping to see the community do/become? Anything that brings people together playing games. I support anything that brings this form of interaction and socialization.
4. What are your 5 most favorite games? LoZ:OoT
FVII
Portal
SC(Entire franchise)
Diablo(Entire franchise)
CS 1.6
Loads of other games...But those are the 5 I would pick up and play at any moment.
5. You live in Vegas, right? Which would you recommend more to a visitor: the legalized prostitution or the gambling? I lack experience in both fields...though prostitution is not legal in Clark County.
6. Which is better: pants or shirts? Shirts...who wears pants?
7. If you could be any James Bond villain, which would you be and why? Oddjob is the freaking man!
8. What sort of music do you listen to? Everything. Pure eclecticism. All music has value of some sort in my eyes. Though I am really into Metal, Electronica, and Classic Rock.
9. What are some of your favorite movies? There are entirely to many to choose from...Though I have a broad taste in film, and watch a lot as well.
10. Let's say the Mayans are right (or whatever) and the world ends in December of next year. What one thing would have to do before all life ended on this planet? Oh wow...so much I want to do yet. The list is entirely too large, expect a reply update to the post.
11. What game do you think was the best game this year? Judging by the hype that followed the release, I would say Skyrim takes that cake. Though hours over the year, or will be had 1 year from the release date of the game, has to go to Minecraft.
12. Dodo or booby: Which bird would you want? *snicker* Booby.
