My new car I got about a week ago
http://imgur.com/a/CjBpW
there is my imgur album so enjoy!

lol ah I see you went with red. fantastic color. though their blue is pretty dope
Haha yes that's true. They had this on the lot though. I didn't have to wait for a blue one to come in. On top of that I already have a sea green Subaru Outback. I should have waited for a blue one. Too late now! I was impatient so I'll just deal with it.

Just thought some of you might be interested in an update. :)

WARNING!
Car is fucking loud, so video is fucking loud.

Blackjack lives again!

Re-installed the original starter after the new one refused to hook up properly to the flywheel, and lo and behold, she started up... for a while...
Come to find out she shorted out after a while and died again.
Automotive life lesson, kiddies: When installing a starter, make sure your positive cable doesn't get bound up and touching the exhaust.

Seeing as it's Columbus Day weekend, the cops are out everywhere, and I live down the road from a school... I decided it best not to take it out on the open road just yet.

Plus, no exhaust whatsoever. Smoke... Smoke everywhere...

Also, come to find out I never received the key to her gas cap when I bought her...

HOWEVER, if the Fallout series has taught me anything, it's that you don't need a key if the lock is old enough ;)

So what if I named my cars Blackjack and Rampage... sue me.

EDIT~~
For clarification, that video was taken AFTER mending the shorting out issue.

Looking good, also reminds me of one time in college where some other kids had mixed up the ground and the live wires on a starter motor, and we managed to save the car from a fiery death :D

Not sure how you go about mixing those up, on my starter they are 2 entirely different sizes...

But avoiding fiery deaths is always good :p
What kind of car was it?

indeed they are, lets just say that our tutor wasn't very impressed with whoever did it before us.
And it was some audi, can't quite remember the model, one of the older a4's I think...

I agree with that decision, you're not a business, you're not trying to resell it, you just want an epic looking, well running classic car. No need to spend more money(or risk it not working) to keep the original parts on a car that's just for you.

Pontiac is back in my garage now that the garage has been insulated. She had to sit outside in the rain and frost for 4 days with exposed metal (wasn't happy about that at all) but I just got done installing the new carburetor and she runs smooth as silk now. Still gonna do a full engine rebuild since the head gaskets still need to be replaced, but at least the car doesn't die when I put it in drive anymore. :D

Well, it's that time of year finally. Spring is here.

How about a little striptease? ;)

Still a good amount of clean metal under all that house paint.

Why isn't clear coat an option that dealerships offer? I would totally drive around a metal car.
