Connecting to T9000 MC server

I must be totally blind or something, but how do you connect from MC stand alone client to the T9000 MC servers? It asks for a host IP.. I know how to access from browser client. Thanks

The standalone client from minecraft.net is the new game (called alpha). Our server is not an alpha server, and thus is not compatible with that client.
