I'm gonna bump this thread with real music that I've been listening to the past couple year or two. I'm just gonna post about the album then a soundcloud link or a video or something. MUST LISTENS ARE YELLOW, IF YOU DON'T LISTEN TO THESE ALBUMS I'LL HURT YOU.

Easily one of my favorite electronic albums of the year, listen to it of you like deep house/jazzy stuff with awesome piano stab chords.

HIP-HOP / RAP
clipping. - CLPPNG (I wish I could make this album more yellow because it's THAT GOOD)
By far my favorite album or 2014 so far, clipping. combined noise music with hip hop creating a very abrasive sound that is very very good.

Deafheaven - Sunbather
Genre: Blackgaze
This album was another favorite of last year. Deafheaven combined black metal and post rock, creating a very approachable and beautiful sound. This album requires a deep listen, no distractions. One of the most beautiful albums I've ever heard.

Panopticon - Roads to the North
Genre: Black Metal
Panopticon is a Black metal project by a one man team. He does all of the instrumentation and layers it. He combines american folk music (Banjos and what not) with Black metal creating a really nice atmosphere that you don't really get with Black metal.
