first game you loved

First game I loved would have to be Ratchet and Clank: 2 (I swear I passed 100% completion on that game) but Pokemon: Ruby comes close.

I've always thought that Wario Woods on the SNES was a fantastic puzzle game, although it seems to be... well, not exactly a well-known game. :p

That being said, the first game I loved is actually two games - Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons. Awesome games on their own, but if you played one game as a "sequel" to the other by using a code from the first game, you unlocked more of the story in the second game (including a completely different ending), and you could also find "secrets" in the second game that you then relayed back to the first one for shiny new items. To my 10-year-old self, it was the best game mechanic ever.

Not sure if you could call this a game or a collection of games. My favorite was 3

And I used to play this all the time with my brother until my mom saw me playing it. I never saw that game again.

For me, I remember playing Metroid, Donkey Kong(still love this game), Robo Cop, And I had like 4 or 5 Mario games on NES. I also remember having Tetris but I hardly played it cause I sucked at it. But yeah, I still wish I had my nintendo and the games I had with it. I don't care how old you are, Mario on the NES is still better than any COD game out today.

To the people that had the Pokemon games on Gameboy....yall are lucky. Cause when I was little, my parents never let me get a gameboy. Those pokemon games on the gameboy are still fun.

Here are a few pics that's related to this topic.

Edit: The game I remember first falling in love with would have to be Mario Brothers

Final Fantasy III.
This is also true for me, but it is actually Final Fantasy VI since the Japanese were little bitches and held back several FF games for a long time.

Of course I knew it when it was FF3 as well. I was playing it before I could even read.

While I really enjoyed Zela/Mario in the grand 'ol days of the NES - I'd have to go with.

Beyond that fact that you couldn't tell the Princess 'No' at the end (she'd constantly reply 'But thou must!" until you agreed :cautious:), it was the first game I played that saw multiple replays.

Me too... I used to have my mom and brother read it to me. I used to badger people about the difference between VI and III, I just don't care anymore.
